Welcome to the Dallas Chapter of Queen for a Day®, a 501(C)3 non-profit organization! Our goal is to counter the debilitating emotional side effects of cancer treatment in children ages 1-21 through positive attention and self-confidence building activities. We offer two programs: Queen for a Day for young girls and Heroes for boys. Each program aims to empower patients by promoting beauty and inner strengths. Children who participates in QFAD will receive a make-over and tiara; while those who participate in Heroes receive a fire helmet and small gifts. We encourage title holders, fire fighters, police, and ordinary people to help make each Tea Party a magical experience for each child. The goal of QFAD is to counter the physical and emptional stress that children experience by giving patients the chance to be a kid again.
